Acts Bible Study
Acts is a segue between the Kingdom message which began with John (see Luke 16:16) and the Grace message and the Mystery which was revealed through the Apostle Paul. If the book of Acts is removed, it would be very difficult (impossible) to grasp the meaning of the changes that occurred from the Gospels to Romans. Even with the book of Acts, many try to force-fit the Pauline epistles into the Gospels or visa versa. An understanding of the changes that occurred between the Gospels and Romans is essential for being able to properly interpret Scripture.
Romans Bible Study
Romans is a foundational book when it comes to understanding our relationship as believers with Jesus Christ. If you can grasp the concepts contained within this book, you will be better able to understand the rest of Paul’s writings. This is why I believe God put this epistle first even though Paul had written five books previous to Romans.
