1 Thessalonians was written by the Apostle Paul to the believers in Thessalonica. They were new believers and Paul was worried about them growing up in the faith. They were also suffering at the hands of unbelieving Jews who were trying to suppress the work of God in them. Paul encourages them to stand firm and patiently endure these tribulations. Paul also gives them much hope in teaching them about the Rapture. He also makes distinctions between the Rapture and the Second Coming.

2 Thessalonians was written by the Apostle Paul to counter a forged letter that countered Paul’s first teaching and shook the faith of the believers in Thessalonica. He reassured them about their hope of glory at the Rapture.

These books are very beneficial to the believer today who is confused about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our meeting with Him in the air. How glorious that will be to be able to leave this earth and be with the Lord for all eternity in our heavenly domain! This is our hope and assurance that will help us get through the trials and tribulations that are a part of this earthly existence. These books are a very practical guide for all Christians today.
